Z-Rail Accessories and Top Grips

The top of your camera can often be unused space, but it's ideal for accessory placement and adding (or replacing your camera's plastic grip with) a solid, secure, multi-purpose Top Grip. Complete your rig with our Z-Rail, Rail Accessories, Recoil Handle top grip, and camera specific top mounts.

Rails and Accessories

We offer three different rail options to fit your camera. Our 3" Z-Rail attaches via (2) ¼” 20 screws (included) that are spaced 3/8" screw center to center at their closest to 2" 5/32" at their furthest. The 5" Z-Rail attaches via (2) ¼” 20 screws (included) that are spaced 3/8" screw center to center at their closest to 4 1/8" at their furthest. We also offer a 'T' style version combining two 3" rails. Attach a Zamerican Articulating Arm, Axis Mini to mount a Gratical EVF, or a coldshoe or screw mount accessory. The accessories pictured below and all our other Z-Rail mounts attach at any point along any Z-Rail or our Halfcage Rail (pictured below). Use them to keep your accessories close and to quick-release them easily and quickly from your rig for set-up and break-down. Zacuto dovetail accessories are adjustable to work with Z-Rail, NATO, SWAT, RED, PICATINNY, and WOODEN CAMERA rails.

Grips and More

A top grip rounds out any rig. Use it to comfortably move your rig from shoulder to tripod, for low mode shooting, and much more. Our universal Recoil Handle attaches to any of our rail accessories - the three basic rails listed above, our Halfcage Rail which attaches to our VCT Universal Baseplate (perfect for DSLR and mirrorless set ups), and our camera specific top mounts. We offer camera specific mounts that incorporate the Recoil Handle for the Canon C100, Canon C100 Mark II, Canon C300 or C500, Canon C300 Mark II, and the Sony F5 and Sony F55. Use the Recoil Handle with a 3" or 5" Rail with the RED One, Epic, Weapon Dragon, Scarlet, Blackmagic Cinema Cameras, ARRI ALEXA, Kinefinity Kinemax 6K, Panasonic DVX200, Blackmagic Ursa Mini, Sony FS700, Sony PXW-X200, AJA Cion and many more.
